It's Friday! That means another weekend Feng Shui post.

Simple things that you can do this weekend to change the Feng Shui your home and help you along your journey. If you are new to Feng Shui, these posts are a great place to start.

Side note: sometimes I like to make visionboards for my weekend! This helps me decide what I want to do and how i want to feel! I may not do all the things on my visionboard but I love to make them.

Feng Shui tips:

  • Shake the welcome mat outside of your front door. (If you don’t have a welcome mat, use this weekend to buy one!)

When We shake the mat we shake up the energy and invite fresh energy to the front door.

  • Wipe down the front door. Wiping down the front door will have a similar effect to shaking the mat. The idea is to protect the energy inside of your home by cleansing the energy that your home attracts.

  • Choose one draw or cupboard to declutter and organize.

We All have that one draw that is a mismatch of junk collected over time! Feng Shui doesn’t have to be so big and obvious, small, intentional changes is all that is needed to change energy.

  • Use the Bagua map to determine which element you need in each area of your home. For example, The Fame and reputation area needs the fire element, you could add a candle.

Remember, align the bottom of the Bagua to the wall in your home that contains the front door for an accurate reading. Your front door will always be in either the Career, helpful people and travel, or the Knowledge and wisdom area.

My weekend will probably consist of a trip to the farmers market, a hot bubble bath and prepping for a busy week ahead!
