How to decorate to attract Love!
I have been married for 13 years, It hasn’t always been marital bliss but the key is to know how to return to that feeling when you need to.
When we Feng Shui and decorate our homes to attract love, we create an environment where love can flourish and happiness can last!
There are two crucial things we must do before we can learn how to decorate for love and those are:
Drop every limited belief we have about love. From today, decide that you are giving love a fresh start. We are going to forget the types of partners we always attract and we are going to make a list of the qualities of the partner we would like to be with. Start by grabbing a pen, turning to a fresh page of our journal and write out all of the things a great partner has and then another list of how they make you feel. You can also create a vision board to go along with your list.
You are going to take a copy of the Bagua map and find the Gua for love and relationships. This is the furthest, right corner of your home. If you are at the front door, looking in, stick out your right arm to find it. You could also book a Bagua map reading of your home here.
In this post we will be focusing on the love and relationship area as well as the master bedroom, or the room that you sleep in, and decorating it to manifest love and romance using Feng Shui.
Using Feng Shui can help to create a balanced environment that can support you in all areas of your life, many clients come to me in search of love and strengthening there current relationship and i am going to teach you how to do that too. Are you ready for better love?
The Bedroom
I am going to start with the bedroom. So not only can we apply the Bagua map to the floor plan of the home, we can also apply it to individual rooms. To find the love corner of your bedroom, start at the door, and look to the furthest right corner looking in to the room. Now this is a great place to frame and hang the love vision board that you have made (This single tip helped me find my husband!) This helps you not only to see it everyday, but will also attract the energy of love to the room.
“I am now attracting a loving partner who is perfect for me ”
Add affirmations to the board and repeat them every night before bed.
Visionboard tips
Choose images that represent your dream partner.
Update it everytime a relationship goal changes.
Place a small image of you on the visionboard. This will help to visualize it actually happening.
Include quotes and affirmations in the present tense as if they are happening now.
Make sure your images are clear and specific.
Feng Shui will always focus on energy flow. If we are turning our attention to the love we want, that is what will show up. It must, that is the law of attraction. I love blending this with Feng Shui!
The bedroom should be well balanced with all of the Feng Shui elements. The elements are water, metal, wood, earth and fire and they should be represented with the focus on the element of earth as that represents love.
Be sure that the bed is positioned in the command position. Making sure that you are comfortably facing the door and the bed is against a solid wall. Also, make sure that you have a sturdy headboard. Headboard suggest stability.
When choosing bedding, opt for soft luxurious sheets and try sleeping on pink sheets for romance. Avoid dark, harsh colors in general for sleep. If you are wanting to attract a soulmate, make sure you place a pillow beside yours as you want to make space for another person in your bed. One more thing, the root should be balanced. If you have one nightstand, make sure you have another one on the other side. Think in pairs.
Art work
Art work in the bedroom and in your Love Gua should support a loving relationship. Images of pairs of birds, swans and doves would be great or art work that shows lovers is also a great idea. Never place an image of a single person or objects in either your visionboard or as art.
The love Gua
When you take a look at the Love Gua on your main floor and see many single items, then your Love energy is out of balance. Similarly to the bedroom, the key is to decorate in pairs. Two red or pink candles and two rose quartz crystals paired with some romantic art would enhance the energy perfectly.
Make sure that the area is clean and clear and is free from clutter and dirt. Clutter over time will turn energy stale, stagnant and negative.
If your love gua is a bathroom or utility room (mine is the laundry room!) You can still decorate for love. Get creative with how you can display your decor items. Add a shelf or simply hang art.
Extra tip: create space in closets and the entry way closet for a potential mate to hang their things.
We have to physically make space to show that we are ready.
