Full Moon Feng Shui
Today is the Full Moon in Leo.
Astrology has always been a passion of mine, I love reading birth charts for fun! They can be so scarily accurate and also can help you predict things better.
If you haven't had a birth chart reading, you totally should!
The Full Moon is a great time to Feng Shui your home and let go of what no longer serves you. It can be a great monthly reminder for us to check in with how we are doing and rewrite some negative thoughts patterns.
Although the full moon and Feng shui are not actually linked, we can just use this phase of the moon to remind us to apply some Feng Shui tips! It is best to do them the day before or the day of.
Feng Shui tips for the Full Moon
The Full Moon is all about letting go of old beliefs and things that no longer serves a purpose in our lives. It is a great time to donate clothes, toys and, anything else that is taking up space in your home. We can also write out any thoughts or old beliefs that have been taking up space in our minds.
One Thing that helps me is to write out any old, negative beliefs on paper and then burn them over the sink. This helps me to actually see them go down the drain and out from my mind and home. You can also flush them down the toilet.
2. As we have now gotten some old beliefs out. We can also make a new list of things that we are grateful for.
Gratitude is a very powerful emotion. When we express and feel gratitude, we actually attract more things to feel grateful for. It's a win win!
If you feel stuck on things to feel write, start small, your warm bed, running water or simply just that you woke up are all great places to start. When we start the process of writing things we feel grateful for, it will have a snowball effect and your list will be so long by the end of the exercise!
The key is to feel the emotions in your body.
3. The Full moon energy is the best for charging your crystals!
On the night of the full moon, set out all of your crystals outside or on a windowsill. Crystals hold a lot of energy, especially if we have been using them to meditate. We must cleanse them and charge them with fresh energy and the full moon is perfect for this. You can also do this with any new crystals that you bring home to cleanse them of the energy of others who may have held them.
If you have crsytals in your Bagua Map sections, make sure you are giving the crsytals new intentions when you put them back.
At the farmers market last weekend, I bought this beautiful double terminated quartz. I knew as soon as I saw it that it was meant to be mine! I have been holding it during my morning meditations this week!
4. Wipe down your front door! Positive energy is drawn to a clean and clear front door.
When we wipe down the door we brush off any stagnant Chi and create a fresh, welcoming place for positive Chi to be attracted to.
Clearing the path that leads to your front door is also important.
The first thing I do after a heavy snowfall is clear the snow from our path!
If you are interested in learning about the full moon and how to use the moon cycles to manifest, I hight recommend the book Moonology by Yasmin Boland. It is my favorite!
