What is Bookshelf Wealth?

Bookshelf wealth is a current trend that shows bookshelves that obviously, include books but also items that are meaningful, displayed in a fun and interesting way. It is about curating a bookshelf that is personal and unique, stepping away from perfectly staged or minimalist displays.

My bookshelf is a modest size. I read a lot but I only keep the books I love and that I know I will read again. This is important as too much of anything can turn into a problem, especially with books because we want to make sure we are actually reading them.

Buying books without reading them comes from a lack mindset and also reading self help books and not applying what you learn has a similar effect. Here is why;

Spending money on the latest trending book and then keeping it on your bookshelf to collect dust is you just trying to keep up with the world without intentionally living for you. Do you even like the books you buy? Or are you just buying them because of tiktok?

Have you been wanting to read but won’t make time for it? What else are you avoiding in your life?

When we buy self help books and don’t apply the knowledge we have to take a look at our self worth. Why won’t the information work for you? Why won’t you give it a try even for a few days? Where in life do you not feel worthy?

So as we are curating our bookshelves, be mindful of what we are placing on them. It all affects our subconscious mind.

I love when I walk into a home and I can see little pops of the personality of everyone that lives there. It is what curating a home is is all about. We can use these items to turn our home into a 3D visionboard. For example: we can place trinkets and souvenirs from places we would like to visit or, we can add pairs of things to call in love.

We can really use our bookshelf to help us manifest.

We can also look to see where we have our bookshelves placed according to the Bagua Map and then decorate it according to the Gua it is placed in.

I strategically placed in my Knowlegde and Self cultivation area. It is the section of the home meant for growing your Knowlegde and working on your mind.

The color to enhance here is blue or turquoise and the element is Earth. I use earth tones blankets and pillows and my book case is blue.
