What the direction of your front door means
In Feng Shui, every compass direction holds meaning.
The trick is to know what the direction of your front door means and, to know how you can enhance it's energy.

Every Color has a specific energy. The color you choose for your front door is so powerful for what your home attracts.
To find your front door direction, hold a compass at the same level as your heart and stand at the front door, looking out, so you are facing the door from the inside.
If you have a north facing door, you are probably thriving in your career with endless opportunities. If you are not, use the tips suggested above and set the intention of opportunities pouring in.
The south is activated by the energy of fire. Light up your entry way and always make sure that the lights outside your home are wiped down and working.
For west facing doors, add your house number in metal accents and use the Earth element to enhance. Potted plants outside the doors are great. Also be sure that you have one on either side as it will help to attract balance and harmony.
The element of wood is connected to wealth and prosperity. Add wood to east facing doors to enhance the abundance that comes in to your home.
The entry way to the home, in Feng Shui, is known as the mouth. It is where energy enters. It is the most important place to start when you start to Feng Shui your home.
If you live in an apartment, find the biggest window you have, find out which direction is faces and, use the information above.
If you have a Northwest, Northeast etc facing door, use the first prominent direction. For example, if you have a southeast door direction, use the information for South facing front doors.
