How to Feng Shui your home
6 simple ways to improve the Chi in your home
When we make changes in our home, we signal to the universe that we are looking for change.
Did you know that your environment accounts for 33% of your life and what you manifest?
Most manifestation coaches leave out the simple fact that your home and its energy can heavily impact all of the work that you are doing to attract positive changes.
If you could change your life by 33% that would be huge!
Feng Shui doesn’t have to be complicated either. We can use basic Feng Shui to start to create positive changes, feel better and to lift any negative energy that is surrounding us.
I have been applying Feng Shui to the homes i have lived in for the last 12 years and i will never go back. Each home has supported me and each one is a manifestation of the previous one. I am already manifesting the next home that i will live in and i have no doubt that it is on it’s way.

So let's get into it! How can you apply Feng Shui to your home today?
Always start at the front door. The Front door is the mouth of your home. It is where energy enters and it is the most important door in your home.
Look at your entrance as if you are a visitor and see what you don’t like about it. Does it feel warm and inviting or is it cluttered and full of unopened mail? Remember, what we display in our front entrance is what we are telling the world we want more of. If it is chaotic, we will attract chaos.

Always shake out your welcome mats and make sure that you do a weekly wipe down of your front door. Cleaning the door to welcome new energy is important and should be part of your weekly Feng Shui rituals.
2. Declutter every room especially the kitchen. The kitchen is connected to abundance and prosperity. If we are keeping clutter and holding on to broken kitchen gadgets, we are hurting the wealth that flows into the home. Once a week, take off everything from the counters and let your kitchen breathe. Also, take care of your stove top and be sure that you are using every burner to help circulate money.
3. Edit your books. Everything holds energy including your books. Make sure you are reading the books you buy and if you have books about losing weight or getting out of debt, read them and then let them go. You see, when we keep books about debt or diets, we keep the energy of those things around. I once had a client that found it so hard to lose weight but, she kept buying books on different diets and even had a piece of art over her bed that said “Eat Cake In Bed” and then wondered why she couldn’t shift the weight. After we got rid of all of those things she said she found that she was naturally gravitating towards healthier foods and lost 35lbs! Be intentional about the energy that surrounds you.
4. The bedroom. The bedroom is my favorite place to Feng Shui. I have a whole service for the bedroom that you can check out HERE. To me, it is one of the most important rooms of the home. We spend a lot of our lives sleeping and in the energy of whatever our bedroom energy is. Make sure that you have a strong headboard on your bed for sleep and stability, look at the art in your room and decide what type of messaging it is sending you and, clear the space that surrounds your bed. Edit your nightstands as these items are closest to you while you sleep and will have the biggest impact.
5. The center of your home is connected to health. We can simply keep this area clean and clear to allow the flow of Chi to move freely. As an extra boost we can add decor that is yellow as yellow represents health and vitality. Think fresh lemons or artwork of lemons and citrus fruits. Check what is in the center and declutter if you need to.
6. Check the artwork and images in your home. If you have quotes hung anywhere, what do they say? Is the art that is hanging on your wall inspiring? The art in our home is always sending us messages whether we are aware of it or not. If you have something hung on the walls that you don’t like, you will attract negative energy. A bare wall is better than an image you secretly hate or are just hanging to fill a space.
I hope that you can see how simple Feng Shui can be! Just doing one of these tips a day will shift the energy of your home and have a positive impact on your energy.
