Your weekend Feng Shui guide.

Happy Venus Day! Friday’s are ruled by the planet Venus. It is the most perfect day to do something romantic for the one you love, or to do something indulgent for yourself. It is my favorite day!

If you didn’t know we also have a new moon in Taurus this weekend (April 27th) Taurus is also ruled by the planet Venus, which means activating your Goddess energy is a must!

I am going to share with you some Feng Shui tips that you can try at home this weekend to help you.

Activate your Feminine Energy

In order for us to really feel the energy of the Goddess within us, we must activate our feminine energy. Leaning into the feminine is a life changing energy. When we are softer with ourselves and let ourselves have what we want, the universe gives us everything we ask for. As within, so without. Feminine energy is a must in the home as it is the energy of receiving. A home with balanced masculine and feminine energy is home full of abundance, love, creative ideas and opportunities.

There are also some things that you can do to step into your Feminine energy:

  1. Look within yourself. Observe your thoughts, feelings and desires. Journal on them and figure out which ones no longer feel good. Focus on the ones that feel good and let them take priority.

  2. Prioritize self care. Nurture your body, mind and spirit. Go for a long walk in nature, grab your favorite coffee, go for a massage or, do the things that make you feel good. You are worthy.

Lately i have been obsessed with using my Gua Sha and have been binge watching tutorials on TikTok!

I have this one, grab yours HERE!

3. Honor your body. Nourish it with whole foods, move it with some exercise, hydrate and make your wellness a priority. This could even just look like a good rest. Listen to what your body needs. Self care isn’t selfish, it is necessary.

We can also use Feng Shui to help us activate our inner Goddess. Creating a feminine environment can help us connect to that energy. Here are my top Feng Shui tips to do just that:

  1. Use colors and textures that are calming and nurturing. This may look like soft throw pillows or a blanket that makes you feel luxurious and happy. Allowing ourselves to feel comfortable and supported helps us feel feminine and taken care of.

THIS one is perfect!

2. In Feng Shui, Feminine energy is Yin. It is represented by soft, round shapes and muted colors. Check to see which rooms lack that round, soft shape. You may have too many pointed sharp corners, like the corners of your coffee table. Although, it is important for the Yin and Yang, the masculine and feminine to have balance, there are some rooms, such as the living room and bedroom, that need more Yin energy.

3. Incorporate nature inside your home. This could be plants, Art work, or, natural materials. Think Earth and wood elements. When we add earth elements to the home we are adding energy that protects and enhances feminine energy.

4. Add a vase to the SouthWest corner of your home. Fill it with beautiful flowers. The SouthWest holds earth energy and the vase will help to collect good Chi. Choose a round vase with soft shapes, representing the beautiful curves of a woman.

This one is PERFECT!

5. Lighting. Think beautifully smelling candles and pretty lamps. Feminine energy is dim and soft in contrast to bright and colorful masculine energy. When the sun sets this weekend, close the curtains and light your favorite candle. Opt for a good book in favor of scrolling on your phone, or watch something romantic!

My actual Sunday Vibe!

6. Slow Sundays are my favorite day of the week! I grab books from my shelf that i like to read or browse through again, sit with my favorite crystals and make my favorite tea! I also like to get my journal and plan out my week so that i am not winging it and have some structure. Slow living is a trend that i can get behind!

I also highly recommend the book “High Vibe Home” by Kristen Yadouga. This book is filled with tips on creating a nourishing home room by room. It also incorporates Feng Shui and is a must have on my book shelf! Grab your copy HERE.
