I am soooo excited to be planning my garden this year!

If you didn’t know, i offer a Garden Feng Shui service where I help my clients bring harmony to their outdoor spaces. Gardening and planning gardens is my favorite!

When I am helping my clients plan what to bring in to their gardens, i like to be intentional about my suggestions.

Did you know that each flower has a meaning?

We can use them to manifest and help attract positive Chi around our home. The outdoor spaces around the house, are it’s aura.

Another thing I like to do is apply the Bagua map outside and even to balconies.

Using the Bagua map will help to bring peace, balance and harmony.

We can also use the 5 elements to create flow and activate each of the Guas.

The 5 Elements in the Garden

Wood: Wooden planters, tall trees, wooden patio furniture and the colors brown and green are examples of how you can activate the element of wood.

Water: Fountains, bird baths, ponds, glass accents and mirrors look beautiful in gardens and bring that flow of the water element. You can also use the colors blue and black.

Fire: Outdoor candles, fire pits and lighting bring the element of fire. We can also use the color red.

Metal: Metal statues and structures, wind chimes and metal furniture bring the element of Metal. Metallic colors and grey can also be used.

Earth: Earth seems obvious in the garden but things such as terracotta plant pots, the colors yellow and brown and rocks will help bring that stable Earth energy we need.

When we have our environment in balance, it helps our nervous systems feel calm and supported. This helps us vibrate at a higher frequency and when we are in that state, miracles happen!

Flowers and thier meanings 🌸

I currently have beautiful red tulips blooming on my TV stand. I felt drawn to them on a recent trip to the grocery store and had to bring them home. I trusted that I needed them and their energy.

Tulips are s symbol of love. If you are drawn to tulips, maybe you need a boost of self love. A perfect place to add them in your garden is in the farthest right corner. Your love corner. Roses are also a great addition to your love corner, they hold the energy of romantic love.

A blooming Hydrangea bush symbolizes gratitude and helps stabilize emotions.

Jasmine not only smells amazing but is also a flower that brings good luck. Not only does Jasmine look pretty, it can also a great ‘climbing’ plant.

Daffodils usually bloom after the winter and symbolize rebirth and new beginnings. The color yellow is also connected to health is Feng Shui.

Lavender is the ultimate plant for calm. We use lavender oils to help us relax and, when we add lavender to are garden they will help us to attract serenity.

When I first attempted to grow lavender, I failed miserably! This year I am planning to add it to my balconies and have been watching a ton of YouTube videos on how to keep it alive.

Peonies are my favorite. I am dying to plant my peony bulbs once the snow is gone for good! Peonies symbolize abundance, prosperity and even romance.

Sunflowers hold the energy of longevity and loyalty. They are also a beautiful happy color that reminds us of the sun and raise our spirits.

The ranunculus flower has quickly become a favorite of mine. They are beautiful and attract life and vitality to any garden. They hold the energy of happiness and love.

Plant a Cherry Blossom tree in your garden or the front of your home if you are looking to attract a new beginning. They hold the energy of renewal and transitions in life. Plus they are pink and that just makes them even more beautiful!
